About Harpsden Cricket Club
Harpsden Cricket Club is a in based in the Harpsden Valley, on the outskirts of Henley on Thames. The club was found in 1887 and as such we celebrated our 125th anniversary in 2012.
Our two Saturday League sides are members of the Morrants Chiltern League, but since the start of 2018 three new divisions have been started in conjunction with the Berkshire League and the Mid Bucks League.
Our first team plays in the top division of the Berkshire Chiltern Mid Bucks pyramid whilst our second team plays in the third tier.
For the latest results and league tables please see: http://chilternscricket.org/
We also play friendly matches on Sundays as well as 20-over games on midweek evenings.
Over recent years our ground has undergone a number of improvements:
- A new cricket net was installed in c.2005
- In Summer 2013 we undertook a large Ground Works Project to flatten the outfield and move the square 15m away from the adjacent road
- In the winter of 2013/14 we undertook a Pavilion Project to extend and refurbish the pavilion
