Harpsden Cricket Club’s Ground Works

Harpsden Cricket  Club underwent a large groundworks project to flatten the hill on the ground and to move the cricket square 15 metres away from the adjacent road. The fantastic new ground has been used since the start of the 2014 season and has created an amazing playing experience for club members and away visitors.

Coinciding with the development of the club’s new pavilion, the ground works and cricket square was supported by a grant of £11,200 from the South Oxfordshire District Council Communities Capital Grants fund.

The South Oxfordshire District Council offers capital grants to community based organisations. These grants are provided through the council’s capital budget and are reserved for projects deemed to be capital expenditure.

Please find below a selection of photos taken before, during and after the ground works project.
